Roger Riley & Teddy Troutman – Death of Autotune
So I spotted this over at Rappers I Know. It takes classic Hip Hop songs and ruins them by running them through Auto-Tune. This is just further proof as how horrible Auto-Tune really is. F–k Auto-Tune Part 2
So this was posted in the comments section of my F–k Auto-Tune blog by Stephan and I think it deserves some more attention. I know the guy that wrote it and he really does know his sh!t. He brings up several points that I had left out in the original post and has more working knowledge of Auto-Tune then I do. With that being said, here’s what he had to say:

88-Keys “The Death Of Adam”
After I saw that Real Detroit Weekly trashed this album and how much the review pissed off Ketchums, I decided I had to give it a listen.
This album is a perfect example of when concepts go wrong. It chronicles a guy named Adam’s sex life and death. At the end of each song there is a female narrator that sums up the song that follows in 20 seconds or less. Not only does she tell the story better than 88 does, she also gives away enough information that nothing comes as a surprise in the song that follows. Read the rest of this entry »
McNuggets Love
I spotted this gem over at Cliff Notes. It’s a McDonalds commercial with a corny R&B song about Chicken McNuggets. I’m guessing they are going for an urban crowd, but they definitely missed. The plus side for Mickey D’s is this might just be corny/wack enough to spread quickly arround the Internet and get them even more advertising than they initially expected.
On a sidenote, I really wonder how much dude in the video is getting paid to sing this. It’s gotta be a good chunk of change, otherwise it wouldn’t be worth the embarassment.

Swagger 2008 Fall/Winter
This whole collection is straight garbage. There is nothing appealing in it, even the simple grey/white knit hat is wack because of the horrible brand name. KRINK x Nike 1World Air Force 1
These are dope, even though they are AF1′s. Grey is always a good color on shoes and when you add a little reflective print and a gum sole it can even make and AF1 look good.
