F–k Auto-Tune
With the upcoming release of Kanye’s “808s & Heartbreak” and Diddy announcing that his album will be sung with Auto-Tune, I feel like this is the perfect time to address this issue.
Cut that Auto-Tune sh!t out, it sounds horrible. Seriously, you’re not being unique or original, you’re just conforming to what one artist (T-Pain) has recently brought back to the mainstream and because of this I have absolutely no interest in listening to Mr. West’s new album. Same goes with any of the Auto-Tuned Lil’ Wayne, Diddy or any other artist. The Orange Splat
TheOrangeSplat.com REALLY needs a better design, but I can’t hate on the content. It has streaming episodes of Rocko’s Modern Life, Doug, Hey Arnold!, Angry Beavers, Rugrats, AAAHHH! Real Monsters and Kablaam. Can’t forget to mention it’s using DivX, so the quality is better than flash. Definitely worth checking out.
New Nike Air Max Releases
I’m a big fan of Air Max’s but I can’t mess with these. Even with the grey/black/off-white colorway they are way too busy. The BW and Structure are my favorite out of this group but still nothing that I’d make a trip to the local boutique for. The Roots Retiring From Touring
So I saw this video posted on the OkayPlayer Message Boards. According to this interview with ?uestlove effective March 2009, The Roots will retire from touring. The reason is because they will become the house band for Jimmy Fallon when he replaces Conan O’Brien as the host of Late Night.
Assuming ?uest isn’t f-cking with us, congrats to The Roots. This should be a good look for them.
Nike Court Force High Lux

Greedy Genius Cool Breeze “Adirondack”

Crackberry Love
If you know me, you know I love my Blackberry. It never leaves my side and if you ever are around me for more over five minutes you’ll most likely get a glimse of it. With that being said, this video makes me want to take a sledgehammer to it.

Kanye West ’808s & Heartbreak’ Commercial
I’m feeling this commercial, just not the music. I’ve checked out everything that’s been leaked and not feeling any of it. IMO the Auto-Tune needs to go. T-Pain made it sound good on a couple hooks, but that’s it. Before Kanye even started leaking these songs it was played out and this album is overduing it. Please Mr. West, surprise us all and make a non-Auto-Tune version of the album, that might actually sound good.
P.S. If you haven’t already check Royce Da 5’9″ “Shot Down,” it’s his version of “Love Lockdown” and killing the original.
