F–k Your Blog Part 2: Integrity Edition
So this has been bugging me for a while and after reading a post on 2DopeBoyz.com that said “It [Royce Da 5'9” “Revival” bootleg] wasn’t supposed to be out and since Royce is a good dude, I took it off the site upon request.” I decided it was time to rant.
The majority of blogs out there have very little to no integrity. They don’t fact check and they don’t even consider if an artist wants what they are posting put online. Big Butt does NOT equal Phat Ass
There seems to be a problem of misconception nowadays. Yes I know some things are relative like people may think a double whopper is a huge burger until they actually see a triple whopper, or even as Crocodile Dundee said “that’s not a knife, THAT’S a knife”. But then there are some things that even when not actually sitting side by side there’s no comparison…..like the size of a mini cooper vs. a Maybach. The other day something happened that brought to my attention the huge misconception that people believe big butt = phat ass. J Dilla x Burn Rubber x LeRoy Jenkins x Toy Watch
This watch is crazy and for a good cause, so I won’t even hate. I found this posted on Burn Rubber’s website and gotta say that these pics don’t do the watch justice (I got to see the sample a little while ago). Below is what was said about the watch.
Well here it is folks. The long over due J Dilla time piece, designed by Upendo for LeRoy Jenkins. Toy Watch Company got down with the manufacturing, and Rick from Burn Rubber Detroit made the whole connection happen. So its technically a 3 way colab.
Proceeds from the watch go to Ma Dukes. Burn Rubber and LeRoy Jenkins is making sure of this! Release is slated for Mid Febuary, we got TONE to get us these dope shots. Ohio State Buckeyes Nike Zoom Soldier II Away
